Angela Doughty, who lives with us at Field House, in Radcliffe on Trent celebrated her 100th birthday today, with a huge cake and a telegram!

Two of Angela's friends came to see her as well as her family and neighbours.  Her friends have known her for 60 years. 

They are Joan Bennett age 96 and Kathleen Crow age 98. 

Angela was born in former Yugoslavia and came to Nottingham to work as a nanny after the war around 1936.  She was over the moon with her huge cake and telegram from Her Majesty The Queen!
