Our Care - Residential Care

Welbeck at Field House in Radcliffe on Trent is home for people who need a low level of support in a ‘residential’ care setting. Many people come to live with us to combat loneliness by becoming part of a caring family. People tell us that they feel safer with 24 hour support and ultimate peace of mind day and night.

People who live at Welbeck are not leaving family and friends behind because their loved ones are encouraged to become very involved members of the Welbeck community and we look forward to these times again in the near future. 

At the heart of our home is a team of dedicated staff. A resident living with us said “I’m never lonely and feel part of a new family. I have a better quality of life here.”

Our family keep busy with daily meaningful activity that supports them to continue to do the things that they love. People also find new hobbies alongside new friends that are fun and surprising. 

Our aim is to provide a positive experience for people living here, their family members and friends by meeting individual needs and preferences, whether that is a walk into the village, crafts and baking or singing and dancing.

Living in Welbeck helps to have a smooth transition to Newstead when the time is right. Newstead is the household where people who need support from our nursing team live and is situated in the same building.
