Events in July at Rusticus
w/c 2nd July
For Wimbledon we will be watching it, making paper mache tennis balls and medals, having themed snacks like strawberries and scones. The residents will be piping the cream on the scones themselves
7th July
Chocolate-themed activities
w/c 8th July
For Veg week we can plant veg, washing and peeling veg, spud stamp painting, possibly some veggie snacks. Make some potato heads, and making some veg with card and stuff so we could stick them on a wall somewhere.
w/c 15th July
Beach Day - Ice cream afternoon, encourage people to sit outside for a bit, do some craft with sand and seashells, maybe get some sand to play with, listen to summer holiday music.
w/c 22nd July
Game/Pub Day - Refreshments in the bar area playing games like skittles, bean bag toss, card games, parachute, snakes & ladders. Possibly get some foam dart like things
29th July
Red Day - Staff come in something red - red themed activities
