We are very pleased to announce that Church Farm Care has acquired a fourth care home in Cotgrave, which we have renamed Church Farm at Rusticus. Rusticus is the newest addition to our Church Farm family and will allow us to offer our specialist services to more people. It's fantastic to have a second location in the beautiful village of Cotgrave.

The name Rusticus was chosen as it is a Latin word meaning rural or countrified, which suits its peaceful setting. It was also the name used by local poet George Hickling, George or ‘Rusticus’ wrote poems such as The Pleasures of Memory and The Pleasures of Life, all of which reflect the Church Farm Care vision and ethos.

Rusticus will remain open throughout a period of renovation, which will enable the home to accommodate 76 people when complete in 2019. The refurbishment will introduce new en-suite facilities, a hair salon, cinema, community centre and specially designed outdoor garden spaces.
