News & Events at Field House

Field House has been shortlisted for a Caring UK award in the category – Innovation in Care. The innovation, started by John Spollin, Home Manager writing about positive experiences of people living in the home. John felt compelled to do this for himself and the staff to help remind them every day about how well people can live in care; even how people can recover themselves and their well-being from previous difficulties before they lived with us. John feels that they are providing a positive balance for himself and the team with the amount of paperwork and checklists that must be completed daily. They remind us in a creative way why we do the job that we do in what can be described as an increasingly difficult sector.
